Lietuvoje ši šventė neretai švenčiama kovo pabaigoje. Lietuvos ornitologų draugija kasmet paskutinį kovo dešimtadienį organizuoja Paukščių dienas, kurių metu visi norintys ir besidomintys sparnuočių gyvenimu stebi paukščius, susipažįsta su jų gyvenimu ar kelia inkilus.
